I don't know about you, but when I hear the words Trader Joe's, I am immediately tickled with excitement. There's not much I enjoy more than a trip to TJs. The frozen meals, the cheese section, the fresh produce, the PUMPKIN SEASON. I just love everything about this store, and I know whenever I shop there, I am going to get three large bags of groceries for a fraction of the cost of other stores. I love a good variety of grocery stores, but mannnnn Trader Joe's is a vibe. Needless to say, Trader Joe's is always stocked with easy dinner ingredients like pre-made chicken breasts, frozen meals, and of course, their ravioli. I LOVE RAVIOLI. Who doesn't?! When ravioli combines with pumpkin, throw in a brown buttah sauce and some sage, it's the perfect weeknight meal in a pinch.
When I tell you how easy this recipe is, and that you literally only need three ingredients, your jaw will drop. That's what I love about Trader Joe's, you can really make just about anything with ingredients there, and it does not have to be complex. This brown butter and sage ravioli recipe can go with any side dish of roasted veggies, an additional squash, or with some roasted chicken thighs, it's a very versatile meal. We opted for it as our main meal, with a little leftover for my lunch the next day. As i've said in previous posts, making brown butter seems intimidating, but it's really quite accessible. It's all about watching the butter as a sputters and foams, and waiting for the small brown bits at the bottom. Add in some sage, pour over some pasta. BOOM. Dinner is served my friends *insert clap emoji here.*
Trader Joe's is an overall amazing place to shop, grab ingredients for a quick dinner, and has a variety of options for you to choose from. If you make this recipe, please remember to comment and share, it goes a long way!
